Hey, I’m Mike (my friends call me Boone) – designer, developer, animator, digital media nerd, and the creative brain behind Boone.Design.
I’ve been making things for screens for a long time: websites, motion graphics, brand visuals, event promos, marketing campaigns, and plenty of creative experiments in between. That background means I bring a mix of craft, curiosity and momentum to your project. I think about strategy, user experience, movement, conversion, and how everything fits together as a complete digital presence. I always treat my clients’ businesses as if they were my own.
When I’m not designing, I’m usually making electronic music, DJing or heading out camping. Creative work and adventure both scratch the same itch for me: envision something cool, explore what’s possible, and make the experience memorable.

Concept: Render mockups, provide print ready assets and design directional signage, event menus, environmental graphics and branded launch collateral for a shoe launch event featuring a popup skatepark for a collab between pro-skater Louie Lopez and Converse.

Project: How To Get The Jump On ‘Em with Micah Johnson

Concept: This was an incredibly exciting project in one of my favorite styles. The idea was to create a pixel art video game world based off of artwork by former MLB second baseman Micah Johnson to help explain NFTs to those unfamiliar with the concept.

Concept: Develop a 2.5D multimedia historical education video and interactive learning activity for grade school students explaining the decisive march to Yorktown during the American Revolutionary War featuring animated paintings of that era.
